Buck's
Tiny Adventure Poetry
by J.C. Dumas Buck
is a sweet cheerful baby black bear.
He plays each day in the forest of dare.
He did not worry or care. |
|
Wind
chimes filled the air as the fairies began to show themselves.
They seemed delighted to meet her. Evelyn looked in wonder at
the colourful fairies in flowery dresses. |
 |
I
looked up at her. My eyes started to water.
I was a mouse.
“I don’t want to be a mouse!” I wailed with
tears rolling down my furry cheeks. “Can’t you do
something? Make me a boy again!”. |
